Located in historic Downtown Hartwell just 10 minutes from Lake Hartwell, Hartwell Suites offers a unique boutique hotel experience with six comfortably modern suites laced with historic charm. Two suites are equipped with full kitchens, one being fully ADA compliant. Also available are two Executive suites with kitchenette and laptop desk areas, and two basic suites. Within a block and a half are six restaurants/pubs, a coffee shop and gourmet market, art galleries, two drug stores and many specialty shops, all locally-owned! We invite you to come enjoy beautiful downtown Hartwell, our many excellent dining and shopping venues, and make Hartwell Suites your home away from home.

Our driving motivation is the love we feel for our home town. We are thrilled to show it to anyone who chooses to stay. We’ve compiled some of our favorite restaurants and activities. Historic Downtown Hartwell has many fantastic dining and shopping experiences, all locally-owned within a two block radius. Lake Hartwell is a man-made lake that sits on the Georgia and South Carolina border. The lake covers 56,000 acres and has over 900 miles of shoreline and provides excellent opportunities to fish, camp, boat, or a number of other activities for those that prefer the outdoors.
