Within a block and a half Market 50 is a downtown sandwich, coffee, and gift shop. They offer delicious, sandwiches, soups, desserts, deli, cheese and meats, jams, jellies, homemade casseroles, soups, local honey, dried fruit and nuts, . They even offer many gluten free options. Market 50 is committed to provide the finest and highest quality products, at prices customers can afford.
A “Slice of New York in Georgia” New York Pizza serves the high quality, at a low price. Have fun and enjoy yourself with a slice of pizza, or try their pastas, salads, and extras. Feel free to call them for free deliveries. Don’t forget to ask about their specials!
Rolling Chefs began as a local food truck, which grew into a permanent location once locals discovered their exquisite food. Don’t let the location or name fool you, Rolling Chefs offers a gourmet food experience that you won’t forget. Enjoy steak, salmon, cod, pastas, salads, shrimp, sandwiches, vegetarian options, and more! They also cater large events and family gatherings!
Little Japan, is a newly renovated dining space, there is room for lunch meetings and dining parties with reservations for 5 or more. The hibachi is a crowd favorite and you can ask anyone about their delicious sushi and they will tell you that it is definitely 5

If you want to unwind many of our restaurants provide live entertainment every weekend. Alternatively, the Hartwell Art Center is right around the corner. You can throw some axes at Chuckers Axe Lounge or enjoy a full day spa treatment at Spa by Laura, Beards and Shears Barbershop would be more than happy to give you a haircut or you can visit one of our six hair and nails salons located in downtown.
If you need to wash clothes there is a dry cleaners and a laundromat nearby. Our historic post office, city hall, the county courthouse, and two drugstores are located within walking distance.

There is a self-guided walking tour of historic downtown Hartwell, Georgia. The tour covers a little more than a mile and includes thirty-two homes, businesses, churches, and landmarks in our historic downtown. Stroll at your own pace and enjoy our downtown as you learn about the history of Hartwell. Walking tour brochures are available at the Hart County Museum & Chamber of Commerce.
